RingCentral Click-To-Dial

Setting up click-to-dial

- Go to Settings
  in the left navigation bar.
- Click the Phone
  tab.
- Under General
  , turn on Use RingCentral for click-to-dial and fax
  .
- Set RingCentral as your default app for click-to-dial.

Open Windows search and enter Protocol
in the search field.
Select Choose a default app for each link type (
in Windows 10

Scroll to CALLTO
and click Choose a default
.
If you already have a default app, click the app icon.
In the Choose an app
window, select RingCentra
l
,
then click OK.
Scroll to FAX
and click Choose a default.
If you already have a default app, click the app icon.
In the Choose an app
window, select RingCentral
, then click OK.
Setting default app for click-to-dial/fax on Mac
Open the FaceTime app.
Click the FaceTime
menu.
Click Preferences
. Note: You’ll need to be signed in with your Apple ID to access the Preferences menu.
For Default for calls,
select RingCentral
.
Using click-to-dial
Make sure you’re signed in to the RingCentral app on your desktop.
From any website or text message, click a number you wish to call.
On the Make a call from
popup, select RingCentral
to open the dialpad and automatically make a call.
